お知らせ
This Privacy Policy explains how Hanull (“we”, “us”) handles information in Mergumi, a puzzle game for Android and iOS (the “App”).
The App has no account registration and never asks for your name, email address, phone number, or postal address. It does not access your camera, microphone, photos, location, or contacts. The App has no in-app purchases.
1. Information We Collect
1-1. Information stored only on your device
The following information is stored on your device and is not sent to us or to any third party:
- Game progress, items you own (such as GEM), and settings
- The choices you made in “Ads and data settings”, and when you made them
- A log of in-game actions (used to investigate bugs)
1-2. Information sent when “Gameplay analytics” is on
Only when you turn on “Gameplay analytics” in the App, we send the following information to Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics), a service provided by Google LLC. Nothing is sent while it is off.
– Identifiers generated by the App: session IDs and event IDs generated inside the App, and the app instance ID issued by Firebase. These do not directly identify you.
– Usage: when the App is opened and closed and how long it is used, puzzles played, clears and failures, moves and scores, use of Hint and Undo, tutorial progress, and items earned and used
– Ad activity: ad requests, impressions, clicks, completed views, rewards granted, and estimated revenue from ads
– Install source (Android only): from Google Play Install Referrer, the source (such as YouTube or TikTok), the campaign name, and the ID of the video that referred you. No other referrer information is kept. This is not collected on iOS.
– Device and app information: app version, operating system and version, device model, language setting, approximate country or region, and the date the App was first opened
We do not use advertising identifiers (the Android advertising ID or the iOS IDFA) for analytics, and analytics data is not linked to Google’s advertising services.
1-3. Information collected by Google to serve ads
The App uses Google AdMob, an advertising service provided by Google LLC. To serve ads, measure their performance, and prevent fraud, Google may collect:
- Advertising identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID)
- IP address and device information such as device model, operating system, and language setting
- Information about your interactions with ads, such as impressions and clicks
On iOS, the App does not ask for permission to track you across apps (App Tracking Transparency), so the IDFA is not collected.
You can choose whether to see personalized ads (ads based on your interests) as described in “4. Changing or Withdrawing Consent”. If personalized ads are off, non-personalized ads are shown.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide the App and save your game progress and settings
- To analyze and improve puzzle difficulty and playability, and to investigate bugs
- To understand which promotional videos led to installs
- To serve ads and understand ad revenue
We do not use information for any other purpose, and we do not sell it.
3. Sharing and International Transfers
We handle the information described in 1-2 and 1-3 through services provided by Google LLC (United States). This information may be stored on servers outside your country, including in the United States. For how Google handles information, see:
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
- Privacy and Security in Firebase: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Except as required by law, we do not share information with any other third party.
4. Changing or Withdrawing Consent
When you first open the App, it asks you about ads and analytics. You can play with both turned off.
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time:
- In the App: go to Settings → “Ads and data settings”. Tapping “Withdraw consent” stops analytics and ad delivery, and the App asks you again the next time it needs to.
- Google ad settings: in regions where consent is required by law, you can change your consent to Google from “Google ad settings” in “Ads and data settings”.
- Device settings: on Android, you can delete or reset your advertising ID in your device’s Settings → Google → Ads.
Your choices remain valid for one year. After one year, or if we change this explanation, the App asks you again.
Information sent before you withdraw consent is deleted according to “5. Retention”.
5. Retention
Google (Firebase): Automatically deleted 14 months after it is sent
Google (AdMob): Under Google’s policies
6. Deleting Your Data
- Information on your device: deleting the App removes all information it stored on your device. On Android, you can also clear it in Settings → Apps → Mergumi → Storage → Clear data. If the information is included in a device backup, please delete it from the backup as well.
- Analytics data already sent: turning off “Gameplay analytics” stops any further sending. Data already sent is deleted automatically after the retention period in section 5. If you want it deleted sooner, please contact us using the details below. Because analytics data is not linked to your name or other contact details, we may not be able to identify and delete your data from your request alone.
7. Children
[Write according to your target-age policy. Example: The App is not directed primarily at children under 13. If you are under 13, please use the App with the consent of a parent or guardian.]
8. Security
We manage collected information in consoles provided by Google, with access limited to authorized people.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we change this Privacy Policy, we will post the updated version on this page. If a change affects ads or analytics, the App will ask for your choices again.
10. Contact
